وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " يُحْمَلُ النَّاسُ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَتَتَقَادَعُ بِهِمْ جَنَبَتَا الصِّرَاطِ تَقَادُعَ الْفَرَاشِ فِي النَّارِ ، فَيُنَجِّي اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ " . قَالَ : " ثُمَّ يُؤْذَنُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ ، وَالنَّبِيِّينَ ، وَالشُّهَدَاءِ أَنْ يَشْفَعُوا فَيَشْفَعُونَ ، وَيُخْرِجُونَ فَيَشْفَعُونَ ، وَيُخْرِجُونَ . زَادَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً : - وَيَشْفَعُونَ وَيُخْرِجُونَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مَا يَزِنُ ذَرَّةً مِنْ إِيمَانٍ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَرَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ أَيْضًا ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the Day of Resurrection people will be brought onto the Sirat (bridge), and the two sides of the bridge will make them fall, just as moths fall into fire. Allah Almighty will save whomever He wills through His mercy." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then the angels, the prophets and the martyrs will be given permission to intercede. They will intercede and bring (people out of Hell); they will intercede and bring (people out of Hell)." Once the narrator named Affan added these words: "They will intercede and bring out (of Hell such people) in whose hearts there is faith weighing as much as a speck."
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
