In one narration it is mentioned: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw two goats butting each other and said: 'O Abu Dharr! Do you know about this, why these two are butting each other?' Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'No.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'But Allah Almighty knows it, and He will soon judge between them.'" Imam Ahmad recorded all of these narrations; Imam al-Bazzar recorded the first narration, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded a similar narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is a mudallis; the rest of Imam Ahmad's narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except his teacher Ibn Aishah, who is thiqah (trustworthy). The narrators of the second narration are the narrators of the Sahih, and its chain contains a narrator who is not named.
