وَعَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْكَلَاعِيِّ قَالَ : قُلْنَا لِلْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ الْكِنْدِيِّ : يَا أَبَا كَرِيمَةَ ، إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّكَ لَمْ تَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . فَقَالَ : بَلَى . وَاللَّهِ ، لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ ، وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ بِشَحْمَةِ أُذُنِي هَذِهِ ، وَأَنَا أَمْشِي مَعَ عَمٍّ لِي ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِعَمِّي : " أَتُرَى أَنَّهُ يَذْكُرُهُ ؟ " . قُلْنَا : يَا أَبَا كَرِيمَةَ ، حَدِّثْنَا مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " يُحْشَرُ مَا بَيْنَ السِّقْطِ إِلَى الشَّيْخِ الْفَانِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي خَلْقِ آدَمَ ، وَقَلْبِ أَيُّوبَ ، وَحُسْنِ يُوسُفَ ، مُرْدًا مُكَحَّلِينَ " . فَقُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَكَيْفَ بِالْكَافِرِ ؟ قَالَ : " يُغَلَّظُ لِلنَّارِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ غِلَظُ جِلْدِهِ أَرْبَعِينَ ذِرَاعًا ، وَقَرِيضَةُ النَّابِ مِنْ أَسْنَانِهِ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَأَحَدُهُمَا حَسَنٌ .
Sulaym bin Amir al-Kala'i narrates: We said to Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him): O Abu Karimah, people claim that you did not see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: Yes indeed! By Allah, I did see the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of this earlobe of mine; I had come walking along with my paternal uncle. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to my uncle: Do you think he will remember it? The narrator says: We said: O Abu Karimah, narrate to us something you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "On the Day of Resurrection, everyone from the child born incomplete (in the world) to the oldest of people will be raised such that their physique will be like that of Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him), their hearts like that of Sayyiduna Ayyub (peace be upon him) and their beauty like that of Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him). They will be without beard or moustache and their eyes will be as if lined with kohl. We submitted: O Messenger of Allah, what will be the state of the disbeliever? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He will be enlarged for Hell, until the thickness of his skin will be forty cubits, and one of his side teeth will be as big as Mount Uhud."
