Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18083

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever begins the morning sound in his body, secure (or free of fear) in himself, and having the food for that day, it is as if the world has been gathered for him. O son of Adam, a small bowl from the world suffices you, which ends your hunger, and that (clothing) which covers your private parts; and if there is a house to shelter you, that too is fine, and if there is a mount for you to ride, then excellent. A piece of bread, a vessel of water, and whatever is beyond the waist-wrapper (that is, whatever there is), you will have to give account for them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy, although some of them have weakness.
