عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْوُدُّ الَّذِي يُتَوَارَثُ فِي أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Love is that which is passed down by inheritance among the people of Islam."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Umar al-Waqidi, and he is da'if (weak).
