Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17272

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Supplicate to Allah Almighty that He admit me into Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), declaring the greatness of the Lord, said: "His Kursi (Footstool) is greater than the heavens and the earth, and a creaking sound comes from it, just as a creaking sound comes from a new saddle when a load is placed on it."
Abu Ya'la recorded it in al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abdullah bin Khalifah al-Hamdhani, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
