Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17246

Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty descends every night to the lowest heaven and says: 'Is there anyone asking, so that I may give him? Is there anyone seeking forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: This continues until true dawn."
Imam Ahmad, Imam al-Bazzar and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this narration, and their narrators are the narrators of the Sahih;
Imam al-Tabarani (also) recorded this narration.
