Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: After saying the salam, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his head while facing the qiblah, and he said (that is, he made this supplication): "O Allah! Grant deliverance to Salamah bin Hisham, Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah, al-Walid bin al-Walid and the weak Muslims, who have no power to devise a means and find no way out."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: It is mentioned in the Sahih that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this in qunut al-nazilah.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration; its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Yazid, about whom there is disagreement; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
