بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَتْرُكُ الدُّعَاءَ .
One who abandons supplication

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ - يَعْنِي الْخُدْرِيَّ - قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرِّزْقَ لَا تَنْقُصُهُ الْمَعْصِيَةُ وَلَا تَزِيدُهُ الْحَسَنَةُ ، وَتَرْكُ الدُّعَاءِ مَعْصِيَةٌ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "No sin decreases provision, and no good deed increases it (provision), and abandoning supplication is a sin."
