Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16785

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not remember Allah Almighty abundantly has become free of faith."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher Muhammad bin Sahl bin al-Muhajir, from Mu'ammal bin Isma'il. In Mizan al-I'tidal it is mentioned: Muhammad bin Sahl narrated mawdu' (fabricated) reports from Mu'ammal bin Isma'il. If he is Ibn al-Muhajir, then he is da'if (weak); and if he is someone else, then the hadith is hasan (good).
