وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيِّهِمْ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ وَفِي بَعْضِهِمْ خِلَافٌ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Allah, forgive the Ansar, the children of the Ansar, the children of the children of the Ansar, their wives and their offspring."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though there is disagreement about some of its narrators.
