عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ مَادَّةٌ ، وَمَادَّةُ قُرَيْشٍ مَوَالِيهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every people has its supporters, and the supporters of Quraysh are their mawali (that is, their freed slaves)."
Imam Ahmad recorded this narration, and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains al-Hajjaj bin Artah, who is thiqah (trustworthy), and the narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
