وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْعِلْمُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ ، وَالْأَمَانَةُ فِي الْأَزْدِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' al-Zubaydi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Knowledge is in Quraysh, and trustworthiness is in the tribe of al-Azd."
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).
