بَابٌ فِي وَفَيَاتِ جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَمَوَالِيدِهِمْ ، وَآخِرِ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ - .

وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَكَانَ قَدْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَسَمِعَ مِنْهُ ، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . قُلْتُ : فِي الصَّحِيحِ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ أَمْرَ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .

Al-Zuhri said: Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said, and he had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and also heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he stated that at the time of the passing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) he was fifteen years old.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: It is mentioned in the "Sahih" that he was present at the incident of the husband and wife who performed li'an (mutual imprecation), and at that time he was fifteen years old.
Al-Tabarani recorded it.
