وَعَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ : تُوُفِّيَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، وَدُفِنَ بِالْحَبَشِيِّ مِنْ مَكَّةَ عَلَى بَرِيدٍ فِي آخِرِ سَنَةِ خَمْسٍ وَخَمْسِينَ ، أَوْ سِتٍّ وَخَمْسِينَ .

Yahya bin Bukayr said: Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, and he was buried at a place called "al-Habashi", one barid's distance from Makkah. This was in 55 AH or 56 AH.
