Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16304

He said: Kharijah bin al-Harith told me: I saw a cloak on his bier. Aban bin Uthman, who was then the governor of Madinah, led his funeral prayer. Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) died at the age of 94; his kunyah was Abu Abdullah, and he had lost his sight. May Allah Almighty have mercy on him.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and its narrators up to al-Waqidi are thiqat (trustworthy).
