- وَعَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ قَالَ : أَسْلَمْتُ قَبْلَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِسَنَتَيْنِ ، وَصَلَّيْتُ ، وَلَمْ أَلْقَهُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ الْجُدَيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Abidah al-Salmani said: I accepted Islam two years before the passing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I also performed prayer, but I did not meet the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Amr bin Zurarah al-Judayy, whom I do not know; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
