وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ الْجُمَحِيِّ : قَالَ أَبُو لَيْلَى : نَابِغَةُ بَنِي جَعْدَةَ ، وَهُوَ قَيْسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ [ بْنِ غَدِيرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ] بْنِ عُدُسِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ ، رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
Muhammad bin Sallam al-Jumahi said: Sayyiduna Abu Layla, al-Nabighah of Banu Ja'dah; he is Qays bin Abdullah bin Ghadir bin Rabi'ah bin Udas bin Rabi'ah bin Ja'dah bin Amir bin Sa'sa'ah.
