بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ ذَكَرَ لَهُمْ أَسْمَاءَهُمْ ، أَوْ وَفَيَاتِهِمْ ، أَوْ أَنْسَابَهُمْ .

- وَقَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ : سُهَيْلُ بْنُ وَهْبِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ أُهَيْبِ بْنِ ضَبَّةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ ، وَبَيْضَاءُ أُمُّهُ ، وَاسْمُهَا : دَعْدُ بِنْتُ أَسَدِ بْنِ جَحْدَمِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ فِهْرٍ .
رَوَاهُ بِسَنَدٍ جَيِّدٍ إِلَى ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ .

Imam Tabarani says: Sayyiduna Suhayl (may Allah be pleased with him) is the son of Wahb bin Rabi'ah bin Hilal bin Uhayb bin Dabbah bin al-Harith bin Fihr. His mother was called Bayda'; her actual name was Da'd bint Asad bin Jahdam bin Umayyah bin al-Harith bin Fihr.
