Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16175

Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not speak ill of Waraqah! For I have seen for him one garden (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) two gardens."
Al-Bazzar recorded it both as connected (muttasil) and as mursal. In the mursal version he added these words: The narrator says: There was an exchange of words between Waraqah's brother and a man, so the other man attacked Sayyiduna Waraqah (may Allah be pleased with him) in order to anger him. The rest of the narration is as before. The narrators of both the musnad and the mursal versions are the narrators of the Sahih.
