عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ مُسَيْكٍ الْمُرَادِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَكَرِهْتَ يَوْمَيْكُمْ وَيَوْمَيْ هَمْدَانَ ؟ " . قَالَ : نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَنَاءُ الْأَهْلِ وَالْعَشِيرَةِ . قَالَ : " أَمَا إِنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى مِنْكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " خَيْرٌ لِمَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْكُمْ " . وَفِيهِ مُجَالِدٌ ، وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَقَدْ ضُعِّفَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " خَيْرٌ لِمَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْكُمْ " . وَفِيهِ مُجَالِدٌ ، وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَقَدْ ضُعِّفَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Farwah bin Musayk al-Muradi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Did you dislike your two days and the two days of Hamdan?" He said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah; it was the annihilation of family and kinsfolk. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be better for whoever among you adopts piety."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, though he recorded the words: "It will be better for whoever among you remains."
Its chain contains Mujalid, who is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith), though he has been declared da'if (weak); the rest of the narrators of both reports are the narrators of the Sahih.
