وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ : لَمَّا قُلْتُ : وَأَيْنَ تَقَعُ هَذِهِ مِنَ الَّذِي عَلَيَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ أَخَذَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَلَّبَهَا عَلَى لِسَانِهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " خُذْهَا فَأَوْفِهِمْ مِنْهَا [ فَأَخَذْتُهَا فَأَوْفَيْتُهُمْ مِنْهَا ] حَقَّهُمْ كُلَّهُ أَرْبَعِينَ أُوقِيَّةً " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ كُلَّهُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ بِنَحْوِهِ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الرِّوَايَةِ الْأُولَى عِنْدَ أَحْمَدَ وَالطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ وَقَدْ صَرَّحَ بِالسَّمَاعِ . وَرِجَالُ الرِّوَايَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ انْفَرَدَ بِهَا أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قُرَّةَ الْكِنْدِيِّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ كُلَّهُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ بِنَحْوِهِ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الرِّوَايَةِ الْأُولَى عِنْدَ أَحْمَدَ وَالطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ وَقَدْ صَرَّحَ بِالسَّمَاعِ . وَرِجَالُ الرِّوَايَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ انْفَرَدَ بِهَا أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قُرَّةَ الْكِنْدِيِّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ .
In one narration there are these words: Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) states: When I said: "O Messenger of Allah, how will this pay off what is due from me?" the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it and turned it over on his tongue (perhaps meaning that he applied his blessed saliva to it). Then he said: "Take it and pay them in full from it." I took it and paid them in full from it, which was forty uqiyah. Imam Ahmad recorded all these narrations, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded similar narrations in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir with various chains. The narrators of the first chain of Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Muhammad bin Ishaq, and he has explicitly stated that he heard it; while in the second narration, Imam Ahmad is alone in recording its narrators, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Amr bin Abi Qurrah al-Kindi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy); and
