وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ أَحَبَّكُمْ إِلَيَّ وَأَقْرَبَكُمْ مِنِّي الَّذِي يَخْلُفُنِي عَلَى الْعَهْدِ الَّذِي فَارَقَنِي عَلَيْهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The most beloved of you to me and the closest of you to me will be the one who, after me, remains upon the covenant on which he parted from me."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Musa bin Ubaydah, and he is da'if (weak).
