Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 15602

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever two different matters were put before the son of Sumayyah (that is, Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir), he always chose the one of the two that was more rightly guided (that is, the wiser)."
