Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 15579

Ibn Hisham said: Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir bin Abs bin Zayd bin Madhhij had the honour of taking part in the Battle of Badr and in all the other battles. According to one view, his mother's name was Sayyidah Sumayyah bint Salam bin Lakhm (may Allah be pleased with her). The kunyah of Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) was "Abu al-Yaqzan". He was martyred in 37 AH at the Battle of Siffin, fighting on the side of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators up to the one who said it are thiqat (trustworthy).
