وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رَضِيتُ لِأُمَّتِي مَا رَضِيَ لَهَا ابْنُ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ ، وَكَرِهْتُ لِأُمَّتِي مَا كَرِهَ لَهَا ابْنُ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ بِاخْتِصَارِ الْكَرَاهَةِ ، وَرَوَاهُ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مُنْقَطِعَ الْإِسْنَادِ . وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْبَزَّارِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَفِيهِ خِلَافٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ وُثِّقُوا .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ بِاخْتِصَارِ الْكَرَاهَةِ ، وَرَوَاهُ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مُنْقَطِعَ الْإِسْنَادِ . وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْبَزَّارِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَفِيهِ خِلَافٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ وُثِّقُوا .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am pleased for my Ummah with what Ibn Umm Abd is pleased with for them, and I dislike for my Ummah what Ibn Umm Abd dislikes for them."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat with the part about dislike abridged; Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir with a munqati' (broken) chain. The chain of Imam al-Bazzar contains Muhammad bin Humayd al-Razi, who is thiqah (trustworthy), though there is disagreement about him, and the narrators of this report have been declared trustworthy.
