بَابُ فَضْلِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَضِيَ عَنْهُ -
The virtue of Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him), freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Majma al-Zawaid 15508 — The virtue of Zayd bin Harithah, freed slave
وَبِسَنَدِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ : أَسْلَمَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ بَعْدَ عَلِيٍّ ، فَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ بَعْدَهُ .
With this chain, he narrated this statement of Ibn Ishaq: Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam after Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), so he was the first person to accept Islam after Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
