Nafi' and other people of knowledge narrate: We offered the funeral prayer for the two wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), in the middle of al-Baqi'. When we offered the funeral prayer for Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), the imam was Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) also attended Sayyidah Aishah's (may Allah be pleased with her) funeral. Into Sayyidah Aishah's (may Allah be pleased with her) grave descended Abdullah and Urwah, the two sons of Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and Abdullah bin Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakr. Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away in the month of Ramadan, on the 17th, in the year 58 AH, and she was buried at night.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Hasan bin Zubalah, who is da'if (weak).
