Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 15292

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Before taking Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) home as his bride, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) let her be adorned as a bride among her family.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Qasim bin Abdullah bin Umar, who is matruk (abandoned). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: some hadith about her being adorned as a bride have already passed earlier in the chapter on the wedding feast (walimah), in the Book of Sacrifices.
