وَعَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَدْرًا وَمَا لِي غَيْرُ شَعْرَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ، ثُمَّ أَكْثَرَ اللَّهُ لِي مِنَ اللِّحَى بَعْدُ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَقَالَ : وَقَوْلُهُ " وَمَا لِي غَيْرُ شَعْرَةٍ " يَعْنِي : مَا لِي إِلَّا ابْنَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ " ثُمَّ أَكْثَرَ اللَّهُ لِي مِنَ اللِّحَى " يَعْنِي : مِنَ الْوَلَدِ .
وَرَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَقَالَ : وَقَوْلُهُ " وَمَا لِي غَيْرُ شَعْرَةٍ " يَعْنِي : مَا لِي إِلَّا ابْنَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ " ثُمَّ أَكْثَرَ اللَّهُ لِي مِنَ اللِّحَى " يَعْنِي : مِنَ الْوَلَدِ .
وَرَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When I took part in the Battle of Badr with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I had only a single hair (of beard). Then afterwards Allah Almighty increased the hairs of my beard.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and he says: His saying "I had only a single hair" means: I had only one daughter; and his saying "then afterwards Allah Almighty increased the hairs of my beard" means: my children became many.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and the narrators of al-Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih.
