وَعَنْ سَعْدٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ طَعَامٌ فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ سُقْ إِلَى هَذَا الطَّعَامِ عَبْدًا يُحِبُّهُ وَيُحِبُّكَ " . قَالَ : فَطَلَعَ - يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ - .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُهُ وُثِّقُوا .

Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: There was food in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated: "O Allah! Bring to this food a servant whom You love and who loves You." The narrator says: Then he came, that is, Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) himself came.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
