Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned both his parents together for him (that is, he said: "May my father and mother be ransomed for you"). A man from the polytheists had set fire to the Muslims, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Sa'd, shoot! May my father and mother be ransomed for you." So I drew out an arrow that had no head (iron tip), and I struck the man in his side. The man fell and his private parts became uncovered, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed until I could see his molar teeth. (Al-Haythami says:) I say: Part of this narration is mentioned in the Sahih.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih except Asad bin Musa, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
