وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ قَالَتْ : كَانَ أَبِي رَجُلًا قَصِيرًا ، دَحْدَاحًا ، غَلِيظًا ذَا هَامَةٍ ، شَثْنَ الْأَصَابِعِ ، وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah bint Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: My father was a short man, heavy in body and with a large head. His fingers were thick, and he had the honour of taking part in the Battle of Badr.
