وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ : أَسْلَمَ عَلِيٌّ ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Urwah bin al-Zubayr narrates: When Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam, he was eight years old.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, in whom there is weakness; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
