Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was encamped in the upper part of Makkah. I came to him. Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) brought a large vessel containing water. Sayyidah Umm Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I saw traces of dough in it. She says: Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) screened him, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) screened Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), and he too bathed.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
It is also recorded in the Sahih, but without the incident of Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), and without each of them screening the other.
