بَابٌ فِيمَا وَرَدَ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ، وَغَيْرِهِمَا مِنَ الْخُلَفَاءِ ، وَغَيْرِهِمْ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اقْتَدُوا بِالَّذِينَ مِنْ بَعْدِي : أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ; فَإِنَّهُمَا حَبْلُ اللَّهِ الْمَمْدُودُ ، وَمَنْ تَمَسَّكَ بِهِمَا فَقَدْ تَمَسَّكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَى الَّتِي لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me, follow Abu Bakr and Umar, for these two are the extended rope of Allah. Whoever holds fast to these two has held fast to the firm handhold that will never break."
