وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - صَلَّى خَلَفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَفِيهِ خِلَافٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered prayer behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ubayd bin Hisham, whom Abu Hatim and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), and there is disagreement about him.
