عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ لَمَّا رَمَاهُ ابْنُ قَمِئَةَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ ، رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ حَلَّ عَنْ عِصَابَتِهِ ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهَا بِالْوُضُوءِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): On the day of the Battle of Uhud, when Ibn Qami'ah struck him (peace and blessings be upon him) with a missile, (after that) whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, he would remove the cloth over the bandage and wipe over it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Hafs bin Umar al-Adani, who is da'if (weak).
