وَعَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : أَحِبُّونَا بِحُبِّ الْإِسْلَامِ ; فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا تَرْفَعُونِي فَوْقَ حَقِّي ; فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى اتَّخَذَنِي عَبْدًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَنِي رَسُولًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Love us with the love of Islam, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not raise me above my due, for Allah Almighty took me as a 'servant' before He took me as a 'Messenger'."
