وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : يَجْلِسُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ ، وَيَأْكُلُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ ، وَيَعْقِلُ الشَّاةَ ، وَيُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الْمَمْلُوكِ عَلَى خُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sit on the ground, eat sitting on the ground, milk the goat himself, and accept the invitation of slaves to a meal of barley bread.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and its chain is hasan (good).
