Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were coming back from a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until we reached one of the gardens of Banu al-Najjar. In it there was a camel, and whenever anyone entered that garden, the camel would attack him. The narrator says: The people mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he came into that garden. He called the camel, and it came with its lips placed on the ground, and it came and knelt down before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring a halter!" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put the halter on it and handed it over to its owner. Then he turned to the people and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything between the heavens and the earth knows that I am the Messenger of Allah, except the disobedient among the jinn and humans."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though there is weakness in some of its narrators.
