Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13810

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The Prophet of Allah was sent after eight thousand prophets, four thousand of whom were from the Children of Israel.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Ibrahim bin Muhajir bin Mismar, who is da'if (weak), though Ibn Ma'in declared him thiqah (trustworthy), and also the narrator Yazid al-Raqashi, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness.
