Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13622

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day should honour his guest; whoever believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day should speak good or else remain silent; and whoever believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day should honour his neighbour."
Imam al-Tabarani and Imam Ahmad recorded it, and the chains of both are hasan (good). The hadith of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and others will come later in the Book of Zuhd, in the chapter on silence.
