Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13343

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite poetry to one another and laugh, while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be seated and would smile.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Fadl bin Atiyyah, who is matruk (abandoned) and a kadhdhab (liar).
