Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13050

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Most of the people of Paradise will be the simple-hearted (that is, those who are unaware of evil and whose nature is inclined to good)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How many an ordinary person who looks weak is such that, if he were to swear an oath by Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty would fulfil (his oath)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Salamah bin Rawh, whom Ibn Hibban and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Ahmad bin Salih and others declared him da'if (weak). His narration from Uqayl is by way of wijadah. The rest of the hadiths of this kind will come in the Book of Zuhd.
