Majma al-Zawaid 12915 — Sitting facing the qiblah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything has a chief, and the chief of sitting in a gathering is facing the Qiblah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
