وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُبَلِّغَ الْعَبْدَ بِحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ دَرَجَةَ الصَّوْمِ وَالصَّلاةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ : لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ : لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, through a person's good character, Allah Almighty raises him to the rank of prayer and fasting."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ali bin Sa'id bin Bashir; al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He is not of that standing. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
