Majma al-Zawaid 12602 — The emergence of the fire
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍ[ وَ ] قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " تُبْعَثُ نَارٌ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ فَتَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَى الْمَغْرِبِ ، تَبِيتُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ بَاتُوا ، وَتَقِيلُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ قَالُوا ، يَكُونُ لَهَا مَا سَقَطَ مِنْهُمْ وَتَخَلَّفَ ، [ وَ ]تَسُوقُهُمْ سَوْقَ الْجَمَلِ الْكَسِيرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A fire will be sent upon the people of the east and it will gather them and drive them to the west. It will spend the night with them wherever they spend the night, and it will rest at midday with them wherever they rest at midday. Whatever of them falls and whoever lags behind will belong to that fire, and then it will drive them along the way a camel with a broken bone is driven."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
