وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الدَّجَّالِ قَالَ : أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ : " يَخْرُجُ مِنْ نَحْوِ الْمَشْرِقِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the Dajjal. The narrator says: I think the wording of the report is that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will emerge from the direction of the east."
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Mujalid bin Sa'id, who is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy.
