Sayyiduna Junadah bin Abi Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Some people came to Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was ill. They requested: "Narrate to us from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a hadith about which you have no doubt." He said: "Sit me up!" One of those present took his hand and sat him up, and he said: I will narrate to you a hadith which I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: (He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "Every prophet warned his nation about the Dajjal, and I too urge you to beware of the Dajjal. He will be one-eyed, and between his two eyes will be written 'Kafir' (disbeliever), which every literate and illiterate person will be able to read. With him will be a paradise and a hell. His fire will (in reality) be paradise, and his paradise will (in reality) be hell."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it. Its chain contains Khunays bin Amir, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report have been declared trustworthy.
